What is a Beer Banquet?
Our annual beer banquets have become a tradition for many of you and every year we see some fresh faces too. Chef Jimi Martin and Brewers Steve Bradt & Geoff Deman will arrange a multi-course meal, carefully paired with a variety of excellent beers. The Banquets offer an opportunity to enjoy some great foods and see how they can be matched up with great beers.
What more should I know about these dinners?
Seating
We will reserve seats in our Beer Hall dining area for the banquets. In order to evenly distribute the beers that we'll be serving, seating will be in groups of 5 or six. Often this results in 2 or more parties sharing a table, something that many past patrons have found to be a lot of fun. We will try to accommodate groups larger than six at one large table which seats 18 but this will not always be possible.
I want to sit with another party who are signing up separately
Great, after you complete your reservation, look for our follow up e-mail that asks for any special requirements. When you reply, just let us know the name of the party that you wish to join and we'll do our best to make it happen. Please be aware that in recent years, the number of groups wishing to sit together has grown steadily. As a result, we cannot promise to fulfill all such requests, particularly for parties of 6 or more.
Dietary Restrictions
The menu and pairings have been carefully selected with the omnivore in mind. We will accommodate non-meat eating guests upon request.
Waiting List
If the Banquet that you would like fills up before you have a chance to sign up, we strongly encourage you to sign up on the waiting list. We always have a few changes and cancellations as we go through the reservation process and we'll accommodate as many of you as we can.
How do I sign up?
Orders for Banquet Reservations may be placed after 6:00 pm on Tuesday 1/10/2012.
As in years past, we will be accepting reservations via our e-store. In fact, this is the much-preferred method of both reservation and payment. Although we will continue to offer phone in reservations when absolutely necessary and we will allow customers to call in their credit card numbers to us if you are uncomfortable using our secure ordering system, it simplifies the process significantly if you make your reservations on line. The cost for this year's Banquets is $60 per person
Order Confirmation
After placing your order, you will receive a confirmation message from us followed by an e-mail requesting information regarding any special requests including dietary restrictions and seating requests.
